Dinosaur TV Week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national television
programming concerning dinosaurs, other prehistoric
animals and evolution, from high art to low trash and
(hopefully) back again, all times Eastern (check local
listings to confirm):

Friday, June 25

Discovery Channel, 7:00pm (repeats 2:00am)
Ice Age Survivors
Ice Age animals "evolve into modern species," or so
informs my electronic TV guide.

The Learning Channel, 10:00pm (repeats 1:00am, and
2:00pm on Sunday)
Amazing Science
"Medical Marvels"
Apparently includes a segment on dinosaurs.

Sunday, June 27

TNT, 7:00am
"Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World"
To distinguish it from "Harvey Lipschitz's The Lost
World." A 1998 remake, no idea how good. Your move.

An atheist's epiphany: Hell is being trapped for all
eternity with Jar Jar Binks (guess which movie this
atheist saw this weekend?) --
===
Larry

"Some damned foolish thing in the Balkans."
-- Bismarck, when asked what would be the likely cause of the next great war
