Snakes

Greetings all,

The snake doesn't have to be very recently dead to cause problems. Several
years ago while out riding around the framing country of rural Arkansas my
friends and I came across a large cottonmouth that had been run over. I
wanted to see the fangs and and proceeded to pry open its mouth. A tiny
droplet of venom hit me in the eye and in a matter of minutes I was in
extreme pain. The eye swelled nearly shut and no amount of rinsing with
water seemed to help. Will I ever be that curious about snakes with fangs
again? What do you think?
