"Colossal Fossil"
National Geographic EXPLORER showed the program "Colossal
Fossil" tonight, which will be repeated at 1:10 a.m. ET and also on
Saturday, June 12, 1999, at 10:05 a.m. ET. The segment is the last
25 minutes or so of the two hour program.
Sue the _T. rex_ was shown from her discovery, to her auction, to her trip
to California for CT scans. Providing expert commentary was dino list
member Chris Brochu. Stressed was Sue's extraordinary sense of smell,
along with good eyesight and hearing.
