Allan and Ernesto are safe from Mary's call for a moratorium on the
Mokele M'bembe thread because her call for an end to the discussion is
over a week old.  However, let me renew the call for a moratorium.
This thread has caused Mary and I to decide to amend the rules on
ending threads.  Currently the official policies state that when we
end a thread you will be given at least 24 hours to present closing
statements.  However, it doesn't make any sense for us to allow
threads to continue for even one day if they should never have started
here in the first place.  There's no dinosaur science in this thread.
Please don't send such messages to the dinosaur list.
