FEATHERED DINOSAUR FIND

Jeff Poling reports about a new feathered dinosaur find
in China as published in the May 27, 1999, issue of the
journal Nature the discovery of another feathered
non-avian dinosaur. The fossil was discovered in
Liaoning Province, China, in 1996. The new fossil find
has been designated as is a new type of therizinosaur.

DINOSAUR EGGS IN S. KOREA

CNN reports that 100 + eggs were found on a beach
near Bosung, South Korea.  These purple colored
eggs were found in a Cretaceous rock unit (100 million
years old) and are thought to be from a vegetarian
dinosaur type.

SUE CT SCAN
The infamous skull of the Tyrannosaurus rex known as
Sue which presently resides in Chicago's Field Museum
was X-rayed via a CT Scan courtesy of Boeing.  A
new digital technique was employed to see into this
2000 lbs skull.  You can view the results at National
