Known from an almost-complete skull and fragmentary
skeleton.

The smallest and one of the last tyrannosaurs.

There's some controversy as to whether it was in fact
a separate species or a juvenile specimen of
_Tyrannosaurus rex_.  Most remarkable features are its
relatively small size (for a tyrannosaur) and the
adaptations shown by the skull for possible binocular
vision (forward-directed orbits, constricted muzzle,
head sharply bent down at the neck).
