Fellow dinolisters, 

This sounds suspiciously like a dinosaur egg urban cryptozoology
alien time travel legend and as such is better suited to other lists
unless there is some scientific evidence to back it up. 

Therefore, a dino egg with thin walls of truth is one of those threads
that qualifies for Section  8h of the Administrivia:
"Additionally, list owners may order an immediate shutdown of 
discussions which arise on subjects which are not germane to the 
purpose of the list -- dinosaur science."
