If I recall correctly, this concept first appeared as
an illustration by Mark Hallett, on the advice of such
vert paleo fellows as Bakker and Currie. I haven't
read Bakker's TDH in ages, but it sounds distinctly
TDH-esque.

I'd suggest Jane Austen's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE,
arguably the greatest novel ever written in English,
and Barbara Tuchman's THE GUNS OF AUGUST, a superb
history of the earliest months of World War One.
Oh, dinosaur books.
Your list does not include THE COMPLETE DINOSAUR, eds.
Farlow and Brett-Surman. This is a must, especially
for the non-pro. It has been a valuable source for
me, and includes the work of several paleontologists
nice enough to share this forum with the kind of
people who suggest novels by Jane Austen.
