Dinosaur teevee week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national television programming
concerning dinosaurs, other prehistoric animals and evolution, from
high art to low trash and back again, all times Eastern (check local
listings to confirm):

Monday, March 1

Discovery Channel, 9:00pm (also airs midnight, and Saturday at 6:00pm)
Resurrecting the Mammoth
A scientist tries to do just that, because there aren't nearly enough
extant species of animals to treat badly.

Saturday, March 6

TRAVEL Channel, 2:00pm
Travels with Mom
"Texas Dude Ranch"
There's a segment on Alberta's dinosaurs, you know. This tape must be
smokin' hot by now.

Discovery Channel, 4:00pm
The Ultimate Guide
"Elephants"
Includes discussion of elephant evolution. Catch this show before
lions get the projectionist!

Forever primarily flighty,
