Ah, this guy must be Peter D. Walsh of the Wildlife Conservation
Society.  See p14 of this month's Scientific American for details of
ants' possible attacks on elephants.

I was a little puzzled by reports from Reuters that a new study shows
that turtles are "the closet living relative" to crocodilians.  It
seems these closet relatives were outed by Hedges & Poling in this
week's Science.  (See www.sciencemag.org but you'll need to sign in.)
