Archosauromorph Questions

I have two questions...first, upon looking for info about "Protorosaurus"
(the prolacertiform) I am encountering much non-applicable stuff about
"Protorosaurus" (the dinosaur). Is this sort of stuff legal in taxonomy (I
mean two beasts with the same name), ...or did somebody just spell something
wrong?
Second, does anyone know for certain if prolacertiformes had procoelus
cervical vertebrae, (or amphicoelus?). Dave Peters has Tanystropheus (at
least) listed as procoelus whereas in Romer`s Osteology (probably outdated)
I`m getting that they were generally amphicoelus.
