Hope you're talking about mt I, not mt V here. Mt V is vestigial or absent in
prosauropods, ornithischians, and segnosaurs. Mt V not preserved in
_Alxasaurus_, neither is proximal part of mt I for that matter, so your
statement cannot be substantiated.
