Would dinosaurs have required salt like mammals require salt? What of pterosaurs? (hell, do crocodiles or monitors or birds need salt?) As egg-layers I could see these seeking out and eating mineral-rich soils or other deposits but don't know if they require salts as one of them. Betty Cunningham
