Jawohl, Herr Doktor Holtz. Suggestions otherwise seem
to insinuate that accurate information about dinosaurs
is innately dull, a sad statement for non-masochistic
dinosaur enthusiasts (NMDE's) to be making.
Coincidentally, this is why I personally have no
interest in depictions of mile-long sauropods and the
like -- the dinosaurs, as they existed, are plenty
interesting enough for me.
Yes, yes, yes, even _Camptosaurus_.
By the way, what's your favorite bone-headed line from
WDR? I admit that I saw little of it, driven as I was
screaming into the night by the bad reconstruction of
preparator work, but I just loved this one:
"Iguanodons were so common that they were known as the
Cows of the Cretaceous."
"Were?" By whom? Turok? OK, I admit it -- I DID
find that highly *entertaining.*
