Well, considering that those plastic toy dinosaurs are
the first contact many kids have with dinosaurs,
helping thereby to shape people's perceptions of the
animals they represent, and furthermore are often used
in experiments by paleontologists (I've seen Bakker
and, IIRC, Farlow on TV dunking dinosaur toys), a
discussion of the merits of the different toys is not
ianappropriate for this list.
