Yeah. I grew up there, and most of my relatives still live there.

And a few other southern states certainly *tried* to "beat" us.

Actually, one important point is that the decision is only *permissive*, not
binding. This means that it is up to the local school systems to decide how
to handle it. I suspect many will stick with the truth. (I know my
biology teacher
from Lawrence High would *never* acquiesce with teaching Creatinism instead
of evolution, or even with leaving evolution out of the class, so as long
as Mr.
Roth is still at Lawrence High, *that* school is safe).
