W. J. T. Mitchell Dinosaur Lecture in Wyoming

W. J. T. Mitchell will be giving a slide and video illustrated lecture, "The
Dinosaur as Cultural Icon," at the University of Wyoming Art Museum in
Laramie on Thursday evening, Sept. 2 at 7 PM.  For those of you who loved
(or hated) "The Last Dinosaur Book," this is a chance to encounter the
author.  It is also a chance to see a terrific exhibition, "From Como Bluff
to Cultural Icon: Our Enduring Fascination with Dinosaurs," at the Museum.
