RE: The origin of birds

I located a used copy of the book for Mr. Barnett and responded to him offlist. Used food stores and all.

Subject: The origin of birds

I have been looking for a book going by the name 'The origin of birds' by Gerhard Heillmann for several years now o no avail.  I feel it must be a very important book as most palaeontologists list it as a source on their publications and from what I can gather, it founded the very basis of our view on bird relationships and evolution.  It is for these reasons that I would like to get hold of a copy - the only problem being it went out of print around 50 years ago and most antique book dealers have never heard of it.  I am now fairly desperate and ask you all if you have any hints, suggestions as to how to obtain a copy.  Maybe you have a spare you could sell to me, whatever.  I would be very grateful for any advice or links on the subject,

yours sincerely,
