Just looked over the paper by Sharov,... again, ("An Unusual
Reptile from the Lower Triassic of Fergana" in Paleontological Journal). He sure
did find some unusual stuff! Looking on page 116, I see the "finished" drawing
as usually shown in texts. It has a long tail with the "feathers" (or
featherlike scales) aligned along the back, and legs splayed out along the
branch (in reptile-like fashion). BUT,...when I look at the "in situ" sketches
on page 113, I see no long tail, the leg that`s visible seems to indicate more
of a perching posture, and it seems (to me) that the fan of "feather-like
scales" could possible be arranged in Peacock- like fashion. Maybe the thing had
a pygostyle??
