One of the reasons I harp on Longisquama is that an extensive description of
the specimen has not yet been published, and nobody seems to be working on
one. This is desperately needed if there is any interest in the evolution of
feathers, birds, or flight--even if the results of such a study bury
Longisquama in some aberrant non-archosaurian outgroup.
