Deperet and Savornin (1925) first described
*"Megalosaurus" saharicus*, on teeth from Egypt.
Stromer (1932) described further material, a partial
skull and skeletons of juveniles, probably all
representing subadults, and renamed the animal
*Carcharodontosaurus*; thus, to be accurate, Stromer
described Carch. Additonal teeth have been described
by field researchers in Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt,
including Buffetaut, Taquet, and Russell. Huene (1956)
described *"Megalosaurus" africanus,* later refered to
Carch, from the Ksar-es-Souk, Morocco [Tegana
Formation]. Sereno et al. (1994) described the newest
find, the restoration of which has a too-long
premaxilla, from the same area as Sereno et al's.

Sorry for the lack of definition on the citations,
will hunt these down when I've had more sleep (just
got off work, and yes, for those checking the
time-stamp, it's almost 5:30am), and probably give a
better discussion on the problem of the wrinkled
teeth.
