new theropod in germany

Hi all,

once more please excuse that I've misunderstood the jokes of some of you.
Maybe I'm a little bit nervous because since a few days I can only think on
this
new dinosaur described in the press-release. Today I've phoned with many
paleontologists and so I say once more: Every news I give to you is absolutely
real (and some of them are even exclusive)!
I believe that many of you know this "fever" better than I do when there was
something found completely new and fascinating to paleontology (Because some of
you are the discoverers - you are the scientists). I am no paleontologist. I am
a student of literature and politics and write in my spare time for some german
newspapers. I'm also interested in dinosaurs since twenty years, so I was
really
fascinated of a dialog I had with a fossil hunter half a year ago. He told me
that a friend of him had found a new species of dinosaur near the sites of
Archaeopteryx but that it is a secret. First I didn't believe it. But when I
heard of this a few weeks later from another fossil-hunter I started to believe
this story. I searched for Mr. Weiss, the discoverer of the new theropod, and
talked to him. He became nervous and told me that the scientists told him that
it is now something "top secret". I had no chance to find out more of this.
After a while I forgot the whole story. You can imagine how surprised I was
when
I read the press-release last week. Everything what the fossil-hunter had told
me was true! Now I wanted to get every information of this dinosaur. I phoned
Mr. Viohl and other paleontologists and collected every info of the new
theropod. From the first moment on it was clear to me that I share every
serious
information of this discovery with the members of this list. Because I think
that you are at least as interested as me in this case.
So once more please excuse that I misunderstood your jokes. Normally I'am very
humerous. In this case I just thought that the realitiy might sound a little
bit
too spectatcular to some of you, but after some friendly mails I know that you
doesn't make jokes on me at all.
Of course I will scan the photos of the new theropod as soon as I get them. Mr.
Viohl told me also that I'am allowed to see the fossil in real. Now he is two
weeks in holiday, but he will show it to me when he is back.
Once more thanks a lot for your interest so far. Of course I'm always
interested
in the opinions of you (you are the specialists).
Nice greetings,
Thomas
