Re: Shunosaurus lii
Christopher Srnka asked:
<Does anyone know if Shunosaurus lii was found articulated? If not,
how sure can it be that the tail "club" is from Shunosaurus and not
some disassociated ankylosaur?>
Aside from the improbability of a Jurassic ankylosaurid (no
nodosaurid has a tail club), yes, *Shunosaurus* is known from several
articulated specimens, and the club is attached to tail vertebrae that
are nothing like an ankylosaur (nodosaurid or ankylosaurid) tail.
