Actually, this image goes directly back to Bakker's 1975 Scientific American
article, and is probably repeated more than necessary because, as was pointed
out some time back, it's the first unambiguously feathered dinosaur restoration
(non-avian, in case it needs to be said). As the original degenerates, the
feather crest on the back of the head has become a flesh and bone structure, a
la _Pteranodon_, and I've seen copy confusing this "restoration" with the
legitimate crests of _S. kayentakaae_ (undescribed at the time of Bakker's
restoration).
