Haven't we discussed the naked mole rat (a small, nearly hairless burrowing
mammal from Africa which has lost its ability to maintain a constant body
temperature internally) on this list already? I coulda sworn we'd been
through that one! (See the archives). Please note that I'm not suggesting
that the exceptionally stable temperature of the NMR habitat can be readily
applied to the habitats of vast groups of evolving animals! Your move.
