        Crocodiles CAN handle some very big prey animals.  True, they won't
normally try an adult hippo,
        rhino, or elephant; but they routinely take zebras, which can be 600
pounds.  But, let's face it,
        lions don't normally attack those animals either.  Also, crocodiles
do work in concert to bring large prey animals down in the water.  I'm NOT
saying they intentionally cooperate, but several crocs
        will attack something big - like a zebra or a wildebeast together.
