It is from the middle Turonian (~92 mya) Moreno Hill Formation (lower
part) of west central New Mexico. The age is quite certain based on
intertonguing relationships of well dated marine strata.

The same volume includes a paper on ceratopsian teeth from the basal
Cenomanian (98.4 mya) of Utah and Aptian (~115-110 mya) of Maryland
(oldest Neoceratopsian teeth in world).
