Eoraptor lacking the derived character found in Herrerasauridae. For the
information that I have Eoraptor distinguished from all other Dinosauria for
the presence of a posterolateral process on the premaxilla, and a heterodont
dentition consisting of premaxillary and maxillary teeth leaf shaped; and
has a
generalized anatomy for a Dinosauria, infact lacking the cranial features of
Theropoda, Sauropodomorpha and Ornithischia. However, the presence of some
derived features placed Eoraptor within the Theropoda.
