I felt a little pang at the absence of feathers, as well.

Just that you covered all the reasons for sauropods _not_ to have trunks so
well, and having the titanosaur nests on my mind, I couldn't help but
envisage that Dumbo-like image of a Mama sauropod gently handling a nestling
with her (non-existent) trunk...

Now, if I could only figure out how to make the damn thing _fly_...
