I have never been seriously interested in dinosaur extinction scenarios
(I wholeheartedly agree with Horner on this issue), so I haven't
followed the research on this subject more than periperally. Here are a
couple of questions I've always had:

1) Any estimates of the time between the impact and the time the iridium
layer was created?

2) How close to the iridium layer are dinosaur fossils found?
