Sereno et al. divide the Spinosauridae into two subfamilies:
Baryonychinae - _Baryonyx_, _Suchomimus_
Spinosaurinae - _Spinosaurus_, _Irritator_ (= _Angaturama_, according
to Sereno et al.)
One thing I noticed is that _Irritator_ lacks the "pinching"
between its premaxilla and maxilla which gives all other spinosaurids
their spoon-like snouts. This is based on the figures of
_Irritator_'s skull given in Martill et al.'s original
description. Though, considering the amount of work they had to do
to restore the skull (not the least of which was peeling off gobs of
car-body filler!), _Irritator_ may have had a spatulate snout.
