  I once found a metatarsal bone of an ornithomimid at the Sternberg Museum in
Hays, Kansas, that originally came from a specimen later collected by the
SDSM&T in Rapid City, SD. And it came from the Fox Hills FM. which is a near-
shore beach deposit. It was like finding an old friend in your high school
annual. The Sternberg graciously made a cast for themselves then donated the
fossil to the Museum of Geology in Rapid City.
