Dr. Gingrich, Dino Hunter

House Speaker Newt Gingrich (who is the representative from my district)
announced today that he will be leaving Congress:

``I'll stay through the end of the year,'' Gingrich told colleagues in his 
conference call. ``The new team has to have the opportunity to be a new 
team. I think Marianne and I will probably take six months off and go 
collect dinosaurs or something.''

It would have been nice if he had done something positive for the 
dinosaurs and science while he had the power to do so.   How about 
instead of collecting dinosaurs in the field, he raises money for the field 
of paleontology?
