Oggetto: Dinosaur Genera List corrections #9
>How about the status of Archaeornithoides deinosauriscus?
>Is it still possibly a spinosaurid?
I have classified Archaeornithoides as Spinosauroidea [incertae sedis],
because the only material that I have is that Archaeornithoides has a
sagittal crest similar to the crest present in both Spinosauroidea and
Troodontidae, but I have read in "The Dinosauria" that probably
Archaeornithoides is a Theropoda very closely to Birds.
By and sorry for the English
