...And, others have been argueing about Archie vs Maniraptorans,...(which
came first?). But evidentally no one is considering Protoavis, which
Chatterjee found in the late Triassic. No feathers came with it, but it did
have what Chatterjee determined to be  "quill knobs", supposed attachment
points for primary feathers!

Of course, to now reconcile this with the BADD point of view, I suppose we
must now search for maniraptoriforms in the Triassic??? Or just ignore
Chatterjees evidence and not call it a bird, or bird-related at all?
