Late Cretaceous Seaway incursions

Landry previously posted questions concerning Late Cretaceous fauna.

Jack Horner, in his 1997 book, _Dinosaur Lives_ (co authored with Edwin
Dobb) talks about the Cretaceous inland seaway transgressions and how
they influenced the evolution of ceratopsians found in Montana.  I don't
think he mentions exact papers but the book is aimed at an educated adult
audience, not necessarily a professional one.  Maybe you can find
something useful and track it using Science Citation Index.
