dinosaurs in Milan

I was in Milan earlier this month and happened to discover the
exhibition of Chinese dinosaurs--there until Aug. 2.  I don't know
which other places are on the tour, but it's a pretty remarkable
collection and certainly worth a detour if you're anywhere in the
area.  The exhibition is in the church of S. Paolo Converso on the
Corso Italia, about 300 meters straight south of the Missori metro
station (or about 600 meters south of the west end of the Piazza
del Duomo), on the eastern side of the street.  Lots of skeletons of
dinosaurs of various ages, adults and juveniles, plus eggs, assorted
body parts, and a collection of animated models (5 species).  The
fossils seem to be all from Mongolia and include Gallimimus bullatus,
Protoceratops andrewsi, Psittacosaurus mongoliensis, Tarbosaurus
bataar, Pinacosaurus grangeri, Velociraptor mongoliensis,
Goyocephale Lattimorei (skull), Oviraptor philoceratops,
Therizinosaurus cheloniformis, Deinocheirus mirificus, a baby
hadrosaur, some sauropod leg bones, an oviraptor nest of eggs.
There's also a Choristodere skeleton and a couple of large photos
of the Scipionyx samniticus find.
