A tribute (was Press Conference)
>I can't help but remember a time about 10 years ago when I was at SVP and
>looked at a galley of Greg Paul's _Predatory Dinosaurs of the World_. There
>were a lot of laughs, rolling eyeballs, and head-scratching. Now his pictures
>are marching out of the ground. Congratulations to GSP. It is enormously
>informative and productive for me to have been so wrong.
>And as for John Ostrom-couldn't there be a Nobel Prize in VP for just one
>year? Dan Varner.
AMEN. Life imitates Art this time.
The latest Chinese discoveries are a tribute to human imagination and
common sense.
And if we have to add someone to that list it would be fair to include
George Olshevsky... after all we are talking about secondarily flightless
dinobirds thanks to him.
Just to add some spice: myself I got blacklisted with the British dinosaur
Status Quo for heretic and troublemaker, thanks mostly to following in the
steps of the above listed...and NEVER regretted it...just have a look into
my website for a peek at my forthcoming, latest sculptural collaboration
with Charlie McGrady.
Velociraptor never looked quite like this before... I'd love to see those
rolling, moaning eyes again!
P.S.
Next we know and dino-coldbloodedness will also be coming tumbling down!!
