PARKINSON & A NEW SAUROPOD

Can someone tell me the full name of the Parkinson who created the
name _Megalosaurus_ in 1822 please? I think I recall James being his
first name, but cannot find a reference stating such. Thanks!

Also, this just in..

RAUHUT, O.W.M. and WERNER, C. 1997. First record of a Maastrichtian
sauropod dinosaur from Egypt. _Palaeont. afr._ 34: 63-67.

The paper describes a left femur from a small sauropod: the femur
shows strong similarities to those of brachiosaurids and thus the
authors suggest that brachiosaurids may have survived to the end of
the Cretaceous. Yet another record disproving the myth of reduced
Cretaceous sauropod diversity.

"(This) confuses Americans quite a lot"
