The new feather-bearing theropods from the Yixian Fm. of Liaoning, China will be announced in the 25 June 1998 issue of Nature. The paper will be coauthored by Ji Qiang, Ji Shuan, Phil Currie, and Mark Norell. The National Geographic Society is scheduled to hold a joint press conference with Nature on Tuesday, 23 June concerning these fossils. A number of Yixian fossils, including the new ones will be exhibited at the National Geographic headquarters in D.C. 24-26 June.
