Art Definitions requested

Since, apparently, art depicting extinct life forms has become a field
with a veritable cornucopia of highly specialized and erudite
nomenclature, it would be helpful to me (and perhaps others) if someone
would be kind enough to make us a list of definitions:

For example, Dan Varney, in a recent post, mentioned that
"reconstruction" has a particular meaning when it comes to a painting,
etc. etc.

What better place to get definitions of "terms of art" than from the
artists themselves?
