Ars magna

Wiwaxia (uninformative but euphonious name) asked:

>What's next? Anagrams?

There was a nineteenth-century entomologist who named about a dozen
genera as anagrams of 'Caroline' or 'Carolina'. This is believed to have
been the name of his wife or lover (or, with a bit of luck, both). I
think he worked on Hemiptera, and it was a coleopterist who named
Polychisme, Marichisme, etc.

                                                All the best,
