Avivimus? (was NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC)

>From Lisa Leung answering to Greg Paul's theories on Caudipteryx:

>I think Caudipteryx is likely to be a relative of avimimus

Weird as it seems, a long time ago I reconstructed Avimimus (as part of a
landscape with a Therizinosaurus herd defending a dead offspring from a
couple of Tarbosaurus) in a way that quite resembled the newly discovered
Caudipteryx.
In the painting, several avimimus are half-flying, jumping over the carcass
and in the middle of the Tarbosaurs.
The painting is in my website, but unfortunately it is too small and the
reporduction is probably not enough good quality to see the details. I will
try to make it bigger in the near future... maybe the year 2020
(websitemaster willing).
