Pelecanimimus polyodon
To the list:
I am wondering if the preservation of the skin at the throat of
*Pelecanimimus'* indicates either a pouch-like contrivance^ or a flap
of skin or dewlap^^?
------
^ = as seen in alligatoroids (not to be confused with a pelican's
gular pouch).
^^ = as seen in mammals and other birds (especially
galliforms---chickens and turkeys---and charadriiforms---frigate birds
even more especially).
