DinoFest

I realize that this is a popular subject as of late, but I can't resist
throwing my own comments in.

Thanks to Ralph Chapman, for his compliments on my talk. Although my
presentation on Torosaurus didn't go quite as I had planned, I
nonetheless was flattered by the people who reacted positively (and even
those who disagreed with me). I felt quite welcome at the symposium at
all times, despite my being a 11th-grader from a little town in South
Dakota. Nearly everyone I talked to was more than friendly! It was very
nice meeting many fellow list members, along with paleontologists who
have been helping me over the years. . .

Hats off to Don Wolberg and the other individuals who took their time to
organize this. . .

I must confess that my favorite exhibit was Dinamation's ceratopsian
section. Nice to see so many horned faces in this world of theropods :-)

In summary, DinoFest was well worth the time and expense of going. I
won't forget this for some time.
