CRETACEOUS ?FLAMINGO JAWS
First off, way to go Ralph for his Dino Fest report.
In compiling my holistic bibliography, I frequently discover papers
I'd forgotten I had. And I've just found a thing by Dale Russell,
published in the Colbert tribute volume, entitled 'Reflections of the
dinosaurian world'. In this, Russell mentions some lower jaws,
discovered somewhere in ?Uzbekistan, and noteworthy for their
resemblance to the lower jaws of flamingos. He cites a pers. comm.
from one of the Soviet workers, sorry I forget which.
Does anyone know what became of these fossils: have they ever been
described? Thanks in advance.
"And I suggest you take it"
