Re: A News Item Regarding Giganotosaurus



Having read this story, I'm now glad we had the discussion concerning 
behavior.  Even if annoyed by the thread, some of my fellow non-pros can 
now hopefully turn a more critical eye toward the bald assertion that 
remains found together equate to "pack-hunting."
This is of the "Sue's leg healed, so T. rex was social" brand of 
reasoning.

Other highly entertaining statements in the story:

*Giganotosaurus preyed upon Argentinosaurus (just look at the dinocam 
for proof)!
*T. rex was "kept at bay" by Giganotosaurus!

Ah me -- I was surprised to see Currie participating in such 
speculation, but I guess he's become increasingly wrapped up in the 
whole Giganotosaurus industry.
