Endless _Protoavis_ in the night

        I wish at this point to reiterate my earlier statements:
        I in no way support or refute Dr. Chatterjee's claims concerning
_Protoavis_. I would like to see discussions of the specimens and his
theories proceed in an intelligent and scientific manner, and I will work as
hard as I can to dispell people's (evidently extensive) preconceived notions
on this topic.
        I ask that folks try to bear this in mind.
