Another suggestion for biggest would have to be the giant squid, which is
of course supposed to be a favorite cuisine for the sperm whales. 
Of course, I don't know if you meant to include invertebrates in the
comparison.
The largest estimate I've heard reported is 60+ feet. This is almost as
conjectural as the length of some extinct reptiles since we actually know
less about giant squid than we do about dinosaurs.
Any thoughts?
