CERATOPSIAN
SORRY FOR THE TYPO'S. POST SHOULD READ:
While reviewing an article in Miss. Geology (1982) by Ken Carpenter, on
Cretaceous dinosaur fauna in the Appalacian region (MS AND AL), he
mentions that he found it strange that no ceratopsian remains have been
found. He goes on that the ceratopsians may have only lived inland. The
only reference I was able to find of a ceratopsian fossil in the eastern
states was a 1990 Kranz find of a tooth in Maryland thought to belong to
a juvenile tenontosaur. Anyone know of any ceratopsian finds in the east
or Ms. and Al. since that time, and if not, a reason?
Thanks,
Glenn
